Take a dive!
BY EMILY ALLEN
Forget the parades—what could be more awesome than jumping out of a perfectly good airplane on St. Patrick’s Day? During the 7th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Skydiving Celebration, March 18-21, skydivers will be flocking to Fitzgerald to break the Georgia state record for formation skydiving, which has held at 64 people since 1997.
Tandem skydives will be available for beginners, and there will be live bands and other activities on the ground for the folks who don’t want to dive.
Visit www.fitzgeraldchamber.org or call Chris Spence at (478) 256-2562 for more information about the event.
