The 31st Annual Cherokee County Indian Festival & Mother’s Day Powwow on Saturday, May 9, and Sunday, May 10, 2020, at Boling Park in Canton This North Georgia tradition features favorite activities for all audiences, including a Native American dance competition; hoop dancer and Aztec dancers; tipis, living Indian village and displays; Creek Encampment; environmental and wildlife displays; Native American artisans; Save the Horses rescue group; activities for children; Mother’s Day Honor Dance and more. The grand entry will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Food will be served throughout the day includes Native American cuisine such as buffalo burgers, gator tail, roasted corn, Indian frybread, and Indian tacos. Rain or shine. Tickets on sale at the gate, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Children under 5: free; children 6 to 12: $5; adults (13 & up): $15.
