Caribbean Carnival is an international cultural phenomenon, beginning with the parade ushered by beautiful costumes and infectious and spirited music. The parade kicks off at 12 pm. It starts in the City of Stonecrest on Mall Parkway and moves along the Stonecrest Mall area, ending in the Carnival Village at Atlanta Sports City (formerly Kohl’s Department Store). While in the village, patrons will be entertained by top international talents, explosive rhythms and melodies of Calypso, Soca, Reggae and Steel Pan music. Vendors will also offer crafts, favorite Caribbean foods and beverages, and more. Viewing the parade is free. To enter the venue village to enjoy food and entertainment, there is an early bird cost of $15 and general admission fee of $20. This event is accessible via MARTA: Kensington via bus #115 or Indian Creek via bus #116.
