Suwanee Fine Arts Festival

The Suwanee Fine Arts Festival is a two-day outdoor celebration of the arts in the award winning Suwanee Town Center Park. Art is a major part of Suwanee's culture providing an ideal location for a Fine Arts Festival. Organized by the North Gwinnett Arts Association, with a 10-year history of running the successful springtime Arts in the Park, this festival is now a two day fall festival with a focus on high quality, fine art. Visitors will find themselves surrounded by all types of artists of diverse fine art and original disciplines, including painting, drawing, clay, photography, fine jewelry, sculpture, metal, leather and more. The festival will also offer local food and concessions, as well as Atlanta area food trucks, artist demonstrations, community art competitions and a new Emerging Artist Display, all in a family friendly environment.

An amazing car, truck,motorcycle, and more show. Registration of $20 begins at 8:00 am.Judging is at 11:00. Bring your favorite vehicle of any year to show off or come an oogle over those that are here. Vintage campers and trailers are welcome too.There will be food and refreshments for purchase. Celebrating 18 years of 10 acres of fall family fun at Blowing Springs Farm! Enjoy a full day of fun for the whole family with a visit to Chattanooga’s best-kept fall secret! Blowing Springs Farm is nestled at the foot of Lookout Mountain, just six miles from downtown Chattanooga. Go on a hayride, get lost in the new corn maze design and play one of the new supersized board games like giant dice or checkers! Try a funnel cake or a sausage and pepper sandwich with a side of roasted peanuts! Ride the cow train, take aim with the corn slingshots or make furry friends at Bagby’s Critter Corral. 39th Annual Georgia Marble Festival

Historic High Country
Held during October's first full weekend each year, the city of Jasper and the Marble Valley of Pickens County celebrate the history of Georgia Marble, the mountains, and the Arts. A full weekend of activities begins with the Marble Festival 5K Run/Walk Road Race Saturday morning. The 5K starts at 8 a.m. followed by the 1 mile Run/Walk at 9 a.m. To register, visit jasperumc.org. Then, catch the festival parade in beautiful downtown Jasper on Main Street at 10 a.m. Don't miss the guided marble quarry tour for $20 which includes entrance to the festival. Once in the festival enjoy arts, crafts, demonstrations and our kids zone. There will be various sculptors including granite, marble,chainsaw and more. Be sure to try the great food while appreciating a vast array of musical entertainment. The Marble Festival has something for everyone!

The Real Squeal BBQ & Music Festival

The Real Squeal BBQ & Music Festival Lyons, Georgia will host its 10th annual BBQ & Music Festival on October 11th & 12th. The Real Squeal is a KCBS sanctioned event including Professional & Amateur BBQ Competitions. The festival will kick off Friday, October 11th, in downtown Lyons with an Amateur BBQ Contest, BBQ Sauce Contest, Classic Car Cruise-In, Motor Build-off, traditional festival foods, street dance, and fireworks!
