Muddbuggs & Music

Atlanta Metro
Muddbuggs & Music returns Saturday, March 30th on Duluth Town Green. This family-friendly event is back for its 3rd consecutive year! Gates open at noon and the event runs till 8pm. In addition to featuring the freshest, most delicious crawfish to ever be "pinched and sucked", the event will feature live music from Blair Crimmins & the Hookers, Trey Dahl & the Jugtime Ragband, Grit & Grac, and more! Kid’s activities and games will be available along with Auntie Yvonne's kids-dance party and a special kid’s show featuring Capt. Crimmins. Ronan Tynan in Concert

Presidential Pathways
Griffin Area Concert Association presents long time member of the Irish Tenors, Ronan Tynan in concert. Tynan's performance of two powerful songs at the funeral of President George H. W. Bush brought many to tears. Known for his rendition of God Bless America at sporting events and national Memorial Day programs throughout the U.S., Tynan is known world wide as Americas Irish Tenor. Do not miss this chance to see this music icon in concert.

Blue Ridge Writers' Conference

Northeast Georgia Mountains
The Blue Ridge Writers’ Conference mission is to educate, inform and inspire writers. In 2019, we are proud to host L.A. Times Book Prize winning writer Thomas Mullen. During the conference, writers will network with fellow writers, expand their knowledge base and learn to hone their skills in various breakout sessions. The 22nd annual conference begins with a Workshop Intensive held on Friday, April 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and a Writers’ Meet and Greet will take place Friday evening at 5 p.m. Writers’ Conference sessions begin Saturday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Books sales from our conference speakers and member writers will also be made available throughout conference events.

Sweep the Hooch

Northeast Georgia Mountains
We will be partnering with Chattahoochee Riverkeepers and Smithgall Woods State Park to do a river clean-up of the Chattahoochee. We invite you to keep our rivers clean and beautiful by picking up trash along our new Helen to Hardman Heritage Trail. We will meet at the Hardman Farm visitor center. Everyone who participates will be eligible for a free Hardman Farm tour directly following the cleanup.

Spend an evening in Cleveland Celebrating our Faith & Freedom on the Campus of Truett McConnell University featuring Mr. Todd Starnes as Master of Ceremonies, Gov. Mike Huckabee as Keynote speaker with entertainment by the Truett McConnell Music Department and Guest Artist, Mr. Jake Cowley.
