Lerner & Loewe's "Camelot"

The legendary love triangle of King Arthur, Guinevere, and Sir Lancelot leaps from the pages of T.H. White's novel in Lerner and Loewe's award-winning, soaring musical. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m.

Buffalo Creek Fall Festival

The first Buffalo Creek Fall Festival presented by the Carroll County Master Gardeners will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, from 9 a.m.to 4 p.m. at 900 Newnan Road in Carrollton. Events include the sale of fall shrubs and trees, house plants, native plants, food and craft vendors, guided walks on Buffalo Creek Trail, activities for children and speakers on horticulture topics. Hunting For The Cure Oyster Pig Roast

Hunting for the Cure will host the 4th Annual Oyster Pig Roast raising awareness to childhood cancer and raising funds to share smiles with children fighting cancer through the great outdoors. Get fired up with a pig pickin’ oyster roast at Southern Pines Ag & Expo Center on Saturday, Oct. 9, for the 4th Annual Oyster Pig Roast at 6 p.m. Bring your appetite and the whole family for the annual oyster pig roast in Dublin, Ga. Attendees can sit down and slurp their way into an all-you-can eat mouthwatering oysters and BBQ roast. After you’ve gotten your bellies full and faces greasy, dance it off with an evening of live music and entertainment by Keith Gregory.

Rock City's Rocktober Fest

Rock City’s Rocktoberfest runs Saturdays and Sundays in October (Oct. 2 through Oct.31), from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Get in touch with Rock City’s German heritage during the 15th annual Rocktoberfest. Rock City Square will be transformed for a celebration of harvests and fall foliage. This premiere autumn festival includes German music with live performances by the Wurstbrats and Musik Miesters. Other offerings returning this year are the Rock City Raptors birds of prey shows. IK The Troll King, Jerry the Mime and Caricature Artist Dennis Hart! Step into German culture as we celebrate and honor our founder Frieda Utermoehlen Carter’s heritage, with German food and fun for the whole family. "Heartbound Ministries: Art from the Inside” exhibits the significant, often overlooked talent of artists who are currently imprisoned. Approximately 60 works of art are on view, representing a wide range of artistic styles and mediums, including sculptures and displays crafted from objects found around the prison. The sale of these works benefits Heartbound’s Little Readers Book Club, which allows children of incarcerated parents to see and hear their parent reading to them via DVD. “Art from the Inside” is the only annual exhibition of art by prisoners in the state of Georgia.

Downtown Dublin Farmers Market

Located on Madison Street in Downtown Dublin, the Market on Madison is a premier open-air venue with a weekly offering of local and organic produce, as well as artisan foods, farm-raised eggs, and raw honey each Saturday morning 7:30 AM until 12:30 PM from April through October. Patrons will also find a variety of handmade crafts and original art. Over the last eight seasons, Dublin’s farmers market has experienced much growth, noting more than 30 vendors each week and 350 patrons during peak produce season.

Fall 2021 Gardening Lecture Series

As one of the newest self guided tours in Forsyth, this African American Heritage Guide takes you through a journey of African American history throughout Monroe County. This self-guided tour is meant to be a starting point in exploring the journey of African Americans in our community. It contains some brief biographical information on those who shaped our history; a timeline critical to putting events into context; and a brief driving tour to link people and places.
