200 year living history timeline designed for public school education of Georgia history. Come walk through time with us. Historical demonstrations from the 18th-early 20th century will allow you to relive the times of the American Revolution, the Furtrapper era and Native Americans, the American Civil War, and the Great Western expansion. Listen to a canon roar across the water and imagine how young men felt hearing one for the first time. Listen to cowboys and fur trappers talk about their journey West, and Native Americans tell stories of how they lived and hunted, and watch how deer hides were preserved. View a model of the Historic Petersburg town, a once-thriving town only rivaled by Savannah in the early and mid 1700s. Join us for a day or the weekend at Bobby Brown Park in Elberton. Friday School Days from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Sunday 9 a.m.-noon
