Calling all Adventure Cubs, ages 0-5, and their favorite grownups for a morning of exploration, learning and fun.
Embark on a new journey each month with a zoo educator as families get to learn and play together.
Each month, young explorers will learn about a new animal through a game, craft, story and singalong. At the end of the program, participants will visit the animal of the month’s habitat to make observations and draw connections to the lesson. You and your family will then receive a themed scavenger hunt to do in the zoo on your own.
All topics and activities are designed for children ages 2-5, with opportunities for exploration for ages 0-2. During the winter months, this program will be held indoors.

THEMES:
Each month, Adventure Cubs will explore a new region of the world to investigate the animals and environments there! The purpose of each program is to expose young children to the diversity of animals around the world and to draw connections to the ways we are similar and different. Hot Air Balloons light the skies over Dublin Civitan Fairgrounds each night from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM with an afternoon balloon launch, evening balloon glow, bounce houses, rides, concessions, and live musical entertainment. Admission is free.

Crossroads Quilt Guild presents our 30th Bi-Annual Quilt Show featuring over 100 quilts on display..
Enjoy viewing the different techniques, size and artistic designs. Along with the quilts, we will have demos, vendors, raffle baskets and a scissor sharpening vendor, so don't forget to bring your scissors.
$8 entry fee/$1 discount coupon available at your local quilt/fabric stores.
Times: Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, 12-5 p.m.

This annual two-day food and music festival is a "can't-miss" event for music lovers and foodies alike. The Wing & Rock Fest is free and features regional tribute acts and chicken wings from some of the best restaurants and food trucks in the South. Wing-slingin’ experts will be selling more than 60 flavors of wings that are grilled, fried and smoked.
This year's entertainment line up features multiple live tribute bands, School of Rock House Band and DJ Suspence. Other activities include the vendor arts and crafts market, kids' activities and wing-eating contests.
Voted one of the Top 10 Food Festivals in the Southeast by Festival Rooster and Parade Magazine. The festival is expecting over 20,000 in attendance this year and is the third largest chicken-wing festival in the country.

A1A—The Official Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show was the first band to perform at and headline the annual Jimmy Buffett "Meeting of The Minds" Convention, shaping the Parrot Head Club community and trop rock/coastal Americana music genre.
The energy, musicianship, originality, excitement and continuous honest dedication to preserving Buffett's legacy that has always surrounded a Jeff Pike, and A1A performances are an experience and a driving force that has helped the band remain the longest-running Buffett Tribute Show in history.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m.

First Friday in Historic Downtown Brunswick is a fun family event that happens the first Friday of each month. Enjoy music, arts, crafts and food while celebrating Historic Darien and the Beloved Shrimping Fleet!
Festivities begin at 4 p.m. Friday and conclude at 6 p.m. Sunday.
Vendors are not required to stay through the full three days. However, booths are required to be in place by 12 p.m. Friday and remain until closing hours Sunday. No vehicles will be allowed within the festival footprint after 1 p.m. Friday afternoon until 6 p.m. Sunday.
***Application is not guaranteed accepted upon payment. Application and payment are reviewed by a committee. An application may be returned with a full refund by committee decision for any reason, specifically if there are other vendors with those goods already accepted by the committee. A rejected application will be returned before March 14, 2025, or one week if after this date.

Gainesville Theatre Alliance presents "Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein," Apr 11-19 at UNG-Gainesville's Ed Cabell Theatre, inside the Performing Arts building.
From the creators of Broadway sensation, "The Producers," comes this monster musical comedy, adapted from the legendary film. Grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Frederick Frankenstein inherits his family’s estate in Transylvania. With the help of a hunchbacked sidekick and a leggy lab assistant, Frederick brings his own monster to life. Recommended for ages 15+ for sexual innuendo and mild language.
