Take in a show at Downtown Dublin's revived Martin Movie House at Theatre Dublin! Boasting the largest retractable movie screen in Georgia, a custom built 40 foot screen and 15-speaker motion-driven digital surround sound system allows each of the 620 seats an experience of the highest quality visual and sound.
October brings spooky movies to the screen with Hocus Pocus on Halloween Night.
Ladies' Night Out means fun with the girls with Sweet Home Alabama on November 7th and Fried Green Tomatoes on November 21st.

Get ready to groove at the Retro Rewind Food Truck Roundup on Nov. 21, from 5-9 p.m. at Perkins Field, 105 Mulberry Street in Warner Robins!
Join us for a rad night filled with more than 25 food trucks dishing out flavors that'll transport you straight to the '90s.
But the nostalgia doesn't stop there! Bring the little gamers to our Kids Zone for a blast of fun with games and activities.
It's a throwback to the era of grunge, neon and boy bands – where great food and '90s vibes collide for a night of tubular family fun. So, dust off your flannel, break out the scrunchies and join us at Perkins Field for a totally '90s evening of food truck nostalgia!

Come take a stroll through the world where differences are cherished and kindness flourishes, a world we’d all like to live in, a world envisioned and created by artists and friends Maxine Hess and Jeanne Hewell-Chambers--on exhibit at the Southeastern Quilt and Textile Museum in Carrollton Sept. 26-Dec. 5.
Museum hours: 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

Calling all Adventure Cubs, ages 0-5, and their favorite grownups for a morning of exploration, learning and fun.
Embark on a new journey each month with a zoo educator as families get to learn and play together.
Each month, young explorers will learn about a new animal through a game, craft, story and singalong. At the end of the program, participants will visit the animal of the month’s habitat to make observations and draw connections to the lesson. You and your family will then receive a themed scavenger hunt to do in the zoo on your own.
All topics and activities are designed for children ages 2-5, with opportunities for exploration for ages 0-2. During the winter months, this program will be held indoors.

Each month, Adventure Cubs will explore a new region of the world to investigate the animals and environments there! The purpose of each program is to expose young children to the diversity of animals around the world and to draw connections to the ways we are similar and different. Bug Bonanza: Discover how important insects are to our world. Students will play bug-related games, discuss what makes an insect an insect and even meet some of our educational arthropod ambassadors.

November – Thursday, Nov. 21, and Friday, Nov. 22
Tree Talk: Learn how to identify and appreciate the trees around you, and delight in the beautiful fall foliage. Students will learn the physiology of a growing tree and the importance of having trees on our planet. Students will also take a walk outside and will learn how to decipher the age of a tree and how to identify a few trees that are common to the Southeast. Project Learning Tree activities and instruction will be incorporated.

December – Thursday, Dec. 19, and Friday, Dec. 20
Owl Pellet Palooza: Marvel at what’s on the menu for our nighttime predators during this hands-on dissection activity. Students become nature detectives as they work individually or in teams to identify the bones of owl prey items. If they’re lucky, they may be able to piece together a whole skeleton!

Having left the Army following World War II, Bob Wallace (Bing Crosby) and Phil Davis (Danny Kaye) team up to become a top song-and-dance act. Davis plays matchmaker and introduces Wallace to a pair of beautiful sisters (Betty and Judy), who also have a song-and-dance act. When Betty and Judy travel to a Vermont lodge to perform a Christmas show, Wallace and Davis follow, only to find their former commander, Gen. Waverly, as the lodge owner. A series of romantic mix-ups ensue as the performers try to help the general.

The Madison Artists Guild & Gallery's 6th Annual Holiday Market is filled with one of a kind gifts ready to purchase for the holidays – wreaths, ornaments, pottery, jewelry, glass art, paintings and more.
The market will be open Oct. 18-Dec. 31, during regular MAGallery hours: Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., with extended hours of 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Shop Sip ‘N Stroll Saturdays in November, during Madison’s Fifth Fridays (open until 7 p.m.), Holiday Tour of Homes and Candlelight Shopping (open until 7 p.m.).

This winter, the Byron L. Dobbs Exhibit Gallery is set to host a heartwarming temporary exhibit, A Century of Toys: 100 Years of Play, just in time for the holiday season. Curated by Chuck Douglas, the collection spans three generations of his family’s cherished toys, alongside contributions from other families and History Cherokee’s archives.
Expect to see a blend of modern-day favorites and beloved vintage treasures, ensuring there’s something to stir nostalgia in every visitor. From classic toys that defined childhoods to recent creations, this exhibition promises a captivating experience for children and adults alike.
