This is a perfect date night or entire family event! Popcorn and drinks available. This event doubles as a fundraiser and community builder for your nationally recognized museum and event venue. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. Cost: $20 per car.

IT'S RODEO TIME!
We are thrilled to be bringing back the Boots & Roots Rodeo on April 28-29, 2023 at Seminole Industrial Park, 2841 Ash Crossing Road. The rodeo starts at 7:30 pm, gates open at 6:00 pm so be sure to come early and enjoy children's activities and grab something to eat!
The Chamber has once again contracted with rodeo champion Justin Thigpen of T - T Rodeo Company that will feature Calf Roping, Steer Wrestling. Saddle Bronc Riding, Barrel Racing. Team Roping, Bull Riding, Bareback Riding, Calf Scramble, Cowgirl Breakaway Roping, Diamond Dash, and Clowns.
Tickets are $15 and also will be sold at the event. Children's tickets are $10 for ages 6-12, 5 and under get in free. New this year is the petting zoo, sponsored by First Port City Bank! - Northwest GeorgiaFood & Drink
The aroma of mouthwatering BBQ will soon fill the air in downtown Calhoun. The annual BBQ, Boogie and Blues Festival will be held on April 28-29. The nationally sanctioned barbecue competition is the festival's main event, but it also features family-friendly activities, craft vendors, and live entertainment.

Christopher and Taylor Malpass don’t just sound retro, they are retro. The duo brings country, rockabilly and bluegrass music sprinkled with humor on this magnetic time-traveling journey. The Malpass Brothers have appeared on stages at the Ryman and Grand Ole Opry and opened for Merle Haggard on multiple tours. Count on real, country music steeped in the legacy of Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins and Hank Williams just to name a few!

6th Annual Blue Ridge Trout Festival & Outdoor Adventures Festival

Downtown City Park, Blue Ridge, GeorgiaOn April 29, 2023, 10 am to 6 pm, the 6th annual Blue Ridge Trout & Outdoor Adventures Festival – the Official Trout Festival of Georgia – returns to the Blue Ridge downtown City Park, where fishermen, river sports enthusiasts, and outdoor recreation fans and their families will gather for fun, food, activities, entertainment, shopping and recreational services while increasing the public's knowledge of trout and the cold-water conservation associated with Trout Unlimited.
Located just 90 minutes north of Atlanta, the 2023 Blue Ridge Trout & Outdoor Adventures Festival combines trout fishing with outdoor recreation, outfitter gear, guide services/information, wildlife art, an Activity Zone -- AND LIVE MUSIC! -- in the historic district of Blue Ridge and the Official Trout Capital of Georgia.

The 6th annual Blue Ridge Trout & Outdoor Adventures Festival – the Official Trout Festival of Georgia – returns to Blue Ridge, Georgia, gathering fishermen, river sports enthusiasts, and outdoor recreation fans and their families in Blue Ridge, Georgia for fun, food, activities, entertainment, shopping and recreational services, while increasing the public's knowledge of trout and the cold-water conservation associated with Trout Unlimited. The all-volunteer, fundraising event combines trout fishing and fly-fishing with services that engage mountain biking, hiking, camping , kayaking, paddling and boating … retail vendors present wildlife art, outfitter gear, guide services/information … and the return of the TROUT FEST ACTIVITY ZONE and staged concerts at the TROUT FEST SOUND STAGE top the day in the historic district of Blue Ridge and the Official Trout Capital of Georgia. Net proceeds of Trout Fest support programs funded (in part) by Blue Ridge Mountain Trout Unlimited #696.
