Event Description

The 16th Annual Dam Dog Walk supports the Hart County Humane Society. Entry to the event is free.

This is a fun event for dogs and their human families of all ages. There will be an organized dog parade on the Hartwell Dam, a dog pageant, prizes, food and drinks, crafters and other exhibitors.

If you would like to enter your dog in the events, the registration fee is $5 per category for Best Costume, Most Talented and Cutest. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

There will be dogs available for adoption.

The event is on April 6, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Big Oaks Recreation Area in Hartwell.
