The University of North Georgia (UNG) Music Department is proud to present its annual International Women’s Day Concert on Monday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center. This highly anticipated event celebrates the artistry, resilience, and contributions of women in music through a diverse and powerful program featuring faculty and student performers.
“This concert is more than a performance—it’s a celebration of musical excellence and empowerment,” says Dr. Joanna Kim-Doyle, Associate Chair of the Music Department. “Our performers have been carefully selected to represent the department, and we look forward to sharing an evening of inspiring music with the community.”
The event is free and open to the public. Music lovers of all backgrounds are invited to join in this tribute to the legacy and future of women in music. For additional information on this and other upcoming events, please visit us at the website below or or contact us at music@ung.edu.
