All About the Flag

Join History Cherokee and the Hightower Trail Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) for a special day all about the American flag.

The DAR will debut a very special puppet show about the history of the American flag and work with children to make puppets. The puppet show will happen at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and lasts approximately 15 minutes. Throughout the History Center other activities will be set up for children and families to learn about the American flag. This program is geared for children in preschool through 4th grade and is perfect for Cub Scouts, specifically Bears dens working on their Paws for Action adventure loops. 

Admission: $5 pre-register, regular admission the day of the event
