Children’s Museum of Atlanta commemorates Friendship Month, National Dog Day and the back-to-school season with a jam-packed schedule of events throughout August. 

Friendship Month Programming

Through Thursday, Aug. 31
Children’s Museum of Atlanta is dedicated to teaching children simple tactics to maintain loving friendships. Kiddos will find joy in interactive readings of “How Do Dinosaurs Play with Their Friends?” and “Should I Share My Ice Cream?”. Following the storytelling and activities, guests will explore the best ways to interact with friends.

 
CMA On Stage, Storytime: “Should I Share My Ice Cream?” by Mo Willems + “How Do Dinosaurs Play with Their Friends?” by Jane Yolen + Clean Up Game, Session A: 10 a.m., 11a.m. and noon / Session B: 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.

 Jane’s Innovation Station, Session A: 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. / Session B: 1:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Science Bar
Children experiment with sounds and vibrations to learn more about soundwaves at the Science Bar. Session A: 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. / Session B: 1:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
