Community Kwanzaa Celebration

Kwanzaa365 Connection is proud to present their Community Kwanzaa Celebration, which will take place Saturday, Dec. 27, from 3-6 p.m. at the Greenbriar Gym. In observance of the Kwanzaa holiday, this event is a special invitation to celebrate the spirit of unity while fostering cultural connection.

The Community Kwanzaa Celebration will involve engaging performances by The Collective and Sankofa Dance Theatre, along with a vendor’s market featuring local entrepreneurs, artists and artisans, food vendors and exciting children’s activities. A highlight of the celebration is the candle lighting ceremony, in which seven local families will come together to light the kinara, the seven-branched candelabra traditionally lit throughout the weeklong celebration. 

Doors will open at 3 p.m. with the program beginning at 3:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
