Cumberland Island National Seashore Commemorates 50 Years this month! Check out some of the NPS activities taking place during the Anniversary Kick-off Event at the St. Marys Seafood Festival. Colonial Encampment at the St. Marys Waterfront Park and activities and demonstrations on the lawn at the Cumberland Island National Seashore Visitor Center from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Piper Band at 11:15 a.m. at the park and a Commemoration Program at 11:45 a.m. Enjoy the Geechee Gullah Shouters at the Amphitheatre at 12:30 p.m. and musket firing/black-powder demonstrations beginning at 1:30 p.m.
