Foxfire's Mountaineer Festival 2025

Experience Appalachian tradition at the Foxfire Mountaineer Festival!

Step back into mountain life on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., at the Rabun County Civic Center Pavilions in Clayton. Spend the day exploring folk and craft booths, riding in a wagon, letting the kids enjoy old-fashioned games and cheering on lively competitions like pig racing and crosscut saw challenges.

Watch heritage skills come to life through demonstrations, enjoy live music from morning to afternoon and bring your appetite for local favorites from Blue Hound Barbecue and The Sunday Diner.
