This global day celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Kids can dive into readings of "Malala's Magic Pencil" by Malala Yousafzai on Stage; the Museum will also be commemorating amazing women throughout history and around the world at the Science Bar and in the Creativity Café. Events include: Storytime: "Malala’s Magic Pencil" by Malala Yousafzai. Session A: 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. / Session B: 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. / Session C: 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Science Bar: Little ones will learn about just a few of the remarkable women scientists throughout history. Session A: 10 a.m. / Session B: 1 p.m. / Session C: 4 p.m. Creativity Café: Children will learn about some of history’s incredible female artists. Session A: 10 a.m. / Session B: 1 p.m. / Session C: 4 p.m.
