Lara Smith, a singer-songwriter from Elberton, Georgia, graduated from Belmont University in Nashville with a degree in commercial music, focusing on vocal performance. With a powerful, bluesy, rock-infused voice, she has performed at iconic Nashville venues like the Bluebird Café and was a soloist in the PBS special "Christmas At Belmont."

Lara has co-written many songs and worked as a studio vocalist with various recording studios. A multi-instrumentalist, she plays guitar and keyboards. Raised in a musical family, her father influenced her style. Lara's performances span classic rock, country, blues, jazz, and gospel.
