CALLING ALL NIGHT OWLS FOR A PANDA-THEMED FAMILY NIGHTCRAWLER!

Spend the night at Zoo Atlanta for an evening of Panda-themed fun with the whole family!

Giant pandas are rare and remarkable animals that live in the mountainous regions of southwestern China. Zoo Atlanta is committed to the long-term stewardship of this distinctive and endearing species. Join us to learn more about these bamboo-loving bears while exploring the Zoo after hours with an educator as your guide. This program is designed for families with children ages 6+.

Participating families will spend the majority of the evening outdoors walking around the Zoo with an educator as their guide, stopping along the way to engage in panda-themed activities, evening panda viewing using night vision scopes, a tour through the amphibian and reptile complex and opportunities to learn more about giant pandas and other species that call Zoo Atlanta home!

After an evening of exploration, participants will sleep in indoor, climate-controlled rooms with sleeping bags brought from home. And then rise and shine for more fun! Enjoy a catered continental breakfast from Proof of the Pudding followed by an up-close Animal Encounter with some of Zoo Atlanta’s small (non-panda) Ambassador Animals, and enjoy more visits to see how animals start their day.

Participating families are invited to stay and enjoy the Zoo at their leisure at the completion of the program.

Please note:

• This experience does not include a Panda Wild Encounter.
• Participants on the Panda Family NightCrawler program will observe the pandas in their public-facing habitats only and will not be going behind-the-scenes.
• There will be no physical contact between humans and pandas on this program.
• This program is designed for families with children. A paid adult must accompany child(ren), and a paid child must accompany adult(s).
