Pioneer Day

Pioneer Day features living-history demonstrations, great food, great entertainment and much more. All-day family-friendly entertainment will focus on Olde Time Mountain Music and Barn Dancing. Excellent southern cooking featuring chicken and dumplins', red beans and rice, collard greens, fried okra, hoe cakes and apple fritters, plus BBQ sandwiches and hot dogs. It's the only day we operate all of the venues in the Lincoln County Historical Park. Free admission!

The Lincoln County Historical Society is a nonprofit association organized to perpetuate the history of the economic and cultural activities of the citizens of Lincoln County, Georgia. The Lincoln County Historical Park was created over the last 37 years by the Historical Society from a bare tract of land, using lots of elbow grease and almost completely volunteer labor.
