Come to the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center for an evening of storytelling and music with Sean Dietrich, also known as Sean of the South, on Friday, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m. in the MMCC’s historic Theatre. Sean will be playing songs from his album “Porch Music” as well as sharing stories of growing up in the American South for the first time ever in Madison.
Sean Dietrich is a columnist, novelist, musician and stand-up storyteller known for his commentary on life in the American South. His work has appeared in Newsweek, Southern Living, Reader's Digest, Garden and Gun, and his column appears weekly in newspapers throughout the U.S. He has authored 18 books, and he makes appearances on the Grand Ole Opry.
