Georgia native and rising country artist JW Griffin, a semifinalist on Season 29 of NBC’s "The Voice," will perform at The Lookout in downtown Blue Ridge on Friday, Oct. 9, from 6-10 p.m. Admission is free.
Griffin earned a three-chair turn during his blind audition before joining Team Kelly Clarkson and advancing to the semifinals and Top 9. Rooted in Southern gospel and traditional country, the Nashville-based artist is also an accomplished songwriter, winning the 2024 MAPCO Song of Summer songwriting contest and performing at Whiskey Jam during CMA Fest.
Griffin’s Blue Ridge appearance offers fans a chance to experience his authentic sound in an intimate rooftop setting. Located atop the Hampton Inn Blue Ridge above West Main Street, The Lookout features sweeping downtown views, inventive cocktails, elevated bar bites and shareable dishes, creating a relaxed backdrop for live music, happy hour and special occasions.
