Come tour the historic Indian Springs Hotel Museum, built ca. 1823, on the evening of Oct. 24. From 6:30-8:30 p.m., the Butts County Historical Society Youth Group and adult members will be participating as “ghosts from the past.” They will tell stories to the visitors as to why they were there and their experiences.
Ghosts of the past include previous owners and visitors of the over 200-year-old hotel, from Sidney Lanier to Chief William McIntosh to the Varner Sisters, whose family owned the hotel for 103 years! Join us for a hauntingly good time!
The cost will be: Students $3, Adults $5, Families $10, Children under 5 free. Cash will be accepted at the door.
Any questions can be directed to the Butts County Historical Society through email (ButtsCountyGAHistoricalSociety@yahoo.com), phone number, website, and Facebook.
