Well-known photographer and photo instructor, David Batley, is presenting an exhibit, titled "This You Should Know: Our Fragile Georgia Coast."

This exhibit is a culmination of nearly 50 years of visits to photograph the Georgia coast and barrier islands. The focus is to present the importance of how the natural beauty and value of our coast deserve our attention and encourage efforts to promote preservation for future generations.

Images of the coastal area, including a few of the barrier islands, show how fragile this ecosystem can be as a result of natural forces as well as human intervention. The exhibit is open Mondays through Sundays, and is free to the public. Call (770) 509-2711 for gallery hours.
