Sunnyside Community Center's Annual Fall Festival features fun for the whole family!
With an indoor art exhibit and sale, an outdoor market with local vendors and a bouncy house for the kids, we can fill your day with fun for all! Northwest Harris Volunteer Fire Department will be cooking and selling lunches, in addition to educating the public on fire safety.
The Fall Festival is from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. at the Sunnyside Community Center. We look forward to seeing you and celebrating all things fall with you and your family.
- Georgia's CoastOutdoors
Second Saturday is a free and family-friendly event held on the beautiful streets of downtown Darien. It is held on the second Saturday of every month unless otherwise noted on the Facebook page. This event features local crafts vendors, food, community partners and more!

For the tweens, teens and grown-ups, step into the Nature Classroom to meet the paranormal team who investigated the historic buildings on the Preserve. Gainesville Theatre Alliance presents "The True Story of the Three Little Pigs," book & lyrics by Robert Kauzlaric, music by Paul Gilvary and William Rush, based on the book by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith.
Show Dates: Oct. 5, 6, 11, 12, at Brenau University’s Pearce Auditorium.
The show is sponsored by the Melvin Douglas & Victoria Kay Ivester Foundation.
When the Big, Bad Wolf takes the stand in Piggsylvania’s Trial of the Century, he finally gets his say. But whether he’ll get a fair trial in a corrupt piggy court is anyone’s guess. Will the pigs’ splashy puppet show make a puppet out of justice, or is the wolf’s catchy song and dance about a sneeze gone wrong all razzle-dazzle? Enter the jury box and decide the wolf’s fate in this musical adaptation of the hit children’s book. Recommended for all ages.
Gainesville Theatre Alliance is a collaborative ensemble, uniting the theatre departments of the University of North Georgia and Brenau University.

Come enjoy the start of Augusta Through Fresh Eyes, an art exhibition celebrating the talent of high school and college students in the CSRA at Sacred Heart Cultural Center.
View their latest work, enjoy light refreshments, and support these local artists. All the art is for sale and will remain displayed until the end of the exhibit on Nov. 1. All sales support the ongoing preservation of Sacred Heart.
The opening reception is from 5-7-p.m, Oct. 8, in the Sacred Heart Great Hall and is free to attend.

The Madison Artists Gallery & Guild presents the collective works of friends and professional artists Elisabeth Guibert, Timothy Holbrook and Kim Holt in the group exhibition Phantasmagoria, meaning "fanstastic imagery as represented in art."
Using natural elements as well as traditional art media, the show offers beautiful and powerful archetypes of familiar symbolism.

Ride the Rails Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 12-13.
40-minute 5-mile round trip ride in open air railroad motor cars departing the Historic Depot, traveling through the Iron Bridge over the beautiful Toccoa River, climbing the grade out of the river valley, and then reverse to the depot. At the depot, view the extensive museum quality model railroad representing the L&N railroad in the Tri-State area, circa 1948-52.
The first trip departs at noon; the last at 3 p.m. Model Railroad is accessible.
Suggested Donation: MOTOR CAR Ride - $15, age 13 and above; $5, children 3-12; under 3 free.
