A C.I.A. agent gets caught in his own booby traps. He electrocutes himself, sets himself on fire, gets a bucket stuck on his head and finally locks himself in his own handcuffs! Add to the inevitable chaos, a stranded televangelist, his innocent secretary (or is she?), an ex-marine caretaker, who isn't what he seems to be and a mysterious, glamorous neighbor, and you have a complex, laugh-out-loud comedy.

From late September and through October, Haunted Montrose is celebrating years of striking fear into visitors' hearts. Located down a dark, deserted road, Haunted Montrose lures you in for a scare and fills your dreams with nightmares. Scaring begins at 7:30 p.m. for most days, with the exception of Saturday Oct. 7, 14 and 21, which will start at 6:30 p.m.

Join the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy for its 28th Annual Cheer for Children Ball: 007 on Sept. 29 from 7-11 p.m.
All funds raised from the Cheer Ball will support the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy, which provides critical services to more than 750 child abuse and trafficking victims in our community each year. Our most vulnerable children will be able to receive intensive case management, forensic interviews and ongoing trauma therapy, all at no cost to the families because of community support. The immediate specialized treatment and effective trauma care provided by GCCA’s incredible intervention team means that the years of abuse and the devastating traumatic experiences will not have to define the rest of their precious childhoods.
Help make a lifelong impact by securing your seat at the event. It will be a fun night filled with great entertainment, exciting games, delicious food, live music, an impactful program and unique silent and live auction.

The Amazing Acro-Cats, featured in the Netflix series Cat People, are coming to Athens!
This troupe of trained domestic house cats, all former orphans, rescues and strays, give a one-of-a-kind purrformance that includes cats riding skateboards, jumping through hoops, ringing bells, balancing on balls and performing other feats of agility and entertainment. The show finale is the only all-cat band in the world: Tuna and the Rock Cats. The Rock Cats play guitar, drums, and piano, and they've been joined by the Jazz Cats on saxophone, trumpet, and clarinet.

The Mad Hatters – A Tribute to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
Formed in late 2020 in Atlanta, The Mad Hatters, while touring extensively, have quickly become the premier Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers tribute act. Comprised of rock veterans from the Georgia Satellites and other national and regional touring acts, The Mad Hatters deliver a pulse pounding sound and stage show that could only be matched by Tom Petty himself.

Don't be a scaredy cat! Stop by the Marlor House and let us help you get into the Halloween spirit with our first annual "Haunted Milledgeville" Exhibit! We will have spooky art from local artists and photos of Milledgeville's most notorious haunted hot spots, along with the history behind their paranormal activity. The exhibit will be open Oct. 5-31, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

The Jekyll Island Club’s past comes alive in this after-dark experience with ghoulish and ghostly stories! Begin your experience at Mosaic, Jekyll Island Museum, where you’ll learn about the Gilded Age traditions of All Hallow’s Eve and pick up some treats. As you make your way by trolley to one of the island’s historic homes, hear the real paranormal experiences of current staff members working in the Historic District. Conclude the experience with a visit back in time to the Club era, where dearly departed former Club members will introduce you to some of the island’s ghastlier tales.
