Lace up for one of the South's most scenic race weekends during RUN Callaway at Callaway Resort & Gardens.

Set against the backdrop of 2,500 acres of gardens, forests and lakes, the weekend features a festive Kids Fun Run, the popular Nighttime 5K through the dazzling Fantasy In Lights display, a scenic 10K, and our signature Half Marathon. There's a race for every runner and every pace.

Participants can enjoy festive holiday entertainment, exclusive runner experiences, and the opportunity to celebrate the season while running through one of the nation's most beloved holiday light displays. Whether chasing a personal best or making memories with family and friends, RUN Callaway offers a one-of-a-kind holiday race weekend.

A great holiday in the North Georgia Mountains begins with the 20th Annual Christmas Bazaar hosted by the Women of St. Luke's Church in Blue Ridge. 

A fabulous array of foods to buy and serve, including our now sought-after entree casseroles, homemade and frozen for your family dinner. Baked goods, jams, jellies, candy and more will be ready for you to gift or enjoy at home. Come early for  the best selection.  

Doors open at 9 a.m. for this indoor event. Local and regional artists will offer cleverly crafted items and handsome knitted scarves, socks and afgans. 

The Bazaar is celebrating it's 20th year so plan to find some special treats for this occasion plus a Silent Auction.

This fall, the full Georgia Renaissance Festival village comes alive with seven festival days across six themed weekends, live jousting, entertainment, 160+ artisan shoppes, 300+ sips and bites, games, and a season-long rivalry between Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham.

From remembrance and forest magic to tournaments, holiday shopping, and Yuletide warmth, every weekend gives Nottingham a different reason to revel.

The tournament field comes alive three times throughout the day as knights compete for honor inside the world of Nottingham. Robin Hood and the Sheriff bring their rivalry to the tournament field while the joust delivers horses, lances, combat, and spectacle throughout the Fall Fling day. Fall Fling is its own season — cooler days, autumn light, Nottingham story, themed weekends, harvest flavors, and a village that changes as daylight gives way to evening.

Young Elvis and the Blue Suedes are returning to Forsyth this year on Saturday, Dec. 5, at 7:30 p.m.!

If you saw them the last time they came to the Monroe County Fine Arts Center, you already know that this incredible show will take you back to 1956 and the Louisiana Hayride and the Rockabilly Showgrounds! Officially Endorsed By The Rockabilly Hall of Fame Museum, this tribute show features vintage instruments, microphones and world class musicians! For this concert, you will enjoy an evening featuring your favorite classics along with the sounds of the holidays.

NETHERWORLD Haunted House is celebrating its milestone 30th Season of Screams with two all-new haunted experiences: Curse of the Collector and Beyond Oblivion: Legacy of Evil. The 2026 season brings together three decades of legendary monsters, iconic characters, and cinematic storytelling, alongside massive new environments and original scares. 

After completing each haunt, guests will arrive at the Halloween-themed Midway, packed with festive spirit, games galore, roaming monsters, food trucks, and more. Guests can also visit the House of Creeps Monster Museum, featuring rare movie props, NETHERWORLD memorabilia, and monstrous creations, or experience five year-round escape games at Escape the Netherworld. 

All tickets are date- and time-specific, with guests selecting a half-hour entry window when purchasing. SpeedPasses are also available to expedite entry.

Come visit our observatory for a rare look through our telescope, where we will be showing some of our favorite celestial objects in the evening sky. 

This event is subject to cancellation due to cloudy skies or inclement weather. The observatory is not heated or air-conditioned, so please dress appropriately.

Please note that the observatory and outdoor restrooms will be open, but the museum will be closed.

For 45 years, Rick Case Bikes for Kids has been collecting gently used bicycles from the community that will be passed along to local children and teens who are yearning for a set of wheels. From October 1 until December 20, the community is encouraged to bring bikes they’re no longer riding to any Rick Case Automotive Group dealership.

The dealerships will ensure the bolts are tightened and the tires are inflated before distributing the bikes to children and teens at the Boys & Girls Clubs, Habitat for Humanity, Women in Distress and other local charitable organizations, churches, synagogues and schools. Since 1982, Rick Case Bikes for Kids has had an incredible impact on local communities by collecting more than 124,000 bikes in Georgia, Florida and Ohio from generous members of the community.

Seven Ladies is a new exhibition focused on Katharine Judkins Clark, Elinor Adler Dillard, Anna Colquitt Hunter, Lucy Barrow McIntire, Dorothy Ripley Roebling, Nola McEvoy Roos and Jane Adair Wright. Together, these seven women joined forces to purchase and protect the Isaiah Davenport House, an 1820 Federal-style home on Columbia Square, from being razed and founded Historic Savannah Foundation, a permanent organization dedicated to saving and preserving historic buildings throughout the city.

Through historic photographs, archival materials and interpretative storytelling, this inspiring exhibition explores each of these influential women, including their personal histories, lived experiences and the convictions that compelled them to serve their community at a pivotal moment in Savannah’s history.

Open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., this exclusive exhibition will remain on display at the Murray C. Perlaman and Wayne C. Spear Preservation Center inside the Historic Kennedy Pharmacy throughout 2026.
